The most commonly known forms of underground art in Egypt are graffiti and music. These are the types of underground art that has risen remarkably after the uprisings in January. However, there are other forms of underground art which host real young talents and great potentials as well. This photo gallery is an attempt to expose some of the hidden underground art throughout the streets of Cairo. It shows some forms of underground art such as theater, film making, dancing, graffiti and music.

Khayal is a music band who has been playing for five years now. Mohab and Ezz are the two vocalists and guitar players in this band.

"This one is just following your passion, flying without any restrictions nor chains" said Dina Saadi, a 23 years old graffiti artist who is supporting the evolving "WOMEN ON WALLS UNCHAINED" campaign.
